TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
His background is relevant. It means the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. But more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.
What You Trade On
Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently in the works. That will round things out when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not relevant to the average person. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.
Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That is what kind of broker this is.
Pair that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
The FSRA Question
Now, the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense is your call.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before funding.
